The United Arab Emirates (UAE) issues five-year-old visa to 100,000 Pakistani citizens, UAE ambassador Hamad Obaid Al-Zaabi announced on Wednesday during a meeting with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, Express News reported.
The ambassador assured that applicants would receive a “red blanket” welcome and respectful treatment at visa centers.
“We will honor the applicants and give full cooperation at the Visa Center,” said Ambassador Al-Zaabi, adding that UAE is looking forward to strengthening the tape with Pakistan through this initiative.
Earlier in the day, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori was warmly received at the UAE consulate in Karachi. He toured the visa center, where the ambassador briefed him on the facilities and operations.
When we talked to the media after the visit, Governor expressed Sindshe gratitude for the hospitality, which the UAE officials have shown. “I was welcomed on a red blanket – a gesture of their love,” he said.
He also thanked the UAE government for the services and support provided at the Consulate’s Visa Center and noticed the active interest in the institution Council (Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
A day earlier, UAE ambassador Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi announced during a meeting with Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori that Pakistani citizens can now apply for five-year visas to the United Arab Emirates.
The message follows confirmation from the UAE authorities that there is no visa ban for Pakistani citizens.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UA’s new five -year visa policy requires applicants to submit return tickets, hotel reservations, proof of property ownership whose applicable, and a deposit of AED3,000.
