UFC star Conor McGregor ‘very optimistic’ in front of Trump’s Presidency
“Our government has been long since the votes of Ireland’s population, and it is high time that America is made aware of what is going on in Ireland. What is going on in Ireland is a Travesty. Our government is a government with zero action and zero accountability.”
McGregor has previously criticized the Irish government. In September, he teased a potential presidential driving in Ireland and called himself the “only logical election.”
“As president, I have the power to summon Dáil as well as to dissolve it,” he wrote in a post about X, as the reference is a branch of the Irish legislature. “So, as I said before, I would have all the answers that Ireland’s population seeks from these twenty of the working man, these disturbed by the family unit, these devastation of small businesses and beyond and beyond!”

“The people of the Ireland deserve the answers they seek. Point blank. This would be my power as president. I know very well. Ireland needs an active president who is employed entirely by Ireland’s people. It’s me. I’m the only logical choice. 2025 is upcoming …”
McGregor’s visit comes a week after Ireland’s Prime Minister Micheál Martin met with Trump in the Oval Office.
