- Nvidia, Oracle and Microsoft have all announced huge investments in the UK

As US President Donald Trump begins his visit to Britain, a number of the world’s best technological names have announced huge investments in the country.
At the forefront of the visit, Google revealed plans to pump $ 6.8 billion to the UK over two years, including a massive new Hertfordshire data center.
Now, a number of others, including Nvidia, Oracle and Google, have also revealed billions of dollars across robotics, cloud computing and AI infrastructure – here’s what we’ve seen.
Nvidia
First up, Nvidia and its partners have announced an investment of £ 11 billion in UK AI factories.
This includes Britain’s largest rolling of AI infrastructure ever of 120,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs.
Nvidia has also joined forces with Oxford Quantum Circuits to construct a Quantum-GPU AI Supercomputing Center and will also create a research and development center to focus on the development of UKS AI and Robotics Industries.

Oracle
Oracle continues its commitment to investing $ 5 billion in the UK over the next five years by expanding AI capabilities to the British government and defense organizations, including a common secure technology platform and Oracle UK SOVEREIGN Cloud.

Trump’s leadership, the Allied Nations are increasing defense investments to strengthen peace and security,” said Safra Catz, CEO Oracle. “Oracle is proud to provide advanced cloud and AI infrastructure in support of the critical missions from government and defense organizations in the UK and NATO member states throughout Europe.”
Oracle will also give British customers access to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Generative AI service, which allows companies to use prior basic models or custom models to increase productivity and growth as well as help with national security.
Microsoft
Finally, Microsoft has announced plans to add an investment of $ 30 billion to Britain’s AI infrastructure in the next four years, including $ 15 billion in capital costs to help build Britain’s largest supercomputer with 23,000 NVIDIA GPUs with NSCale.
British Prime Minister Keir Stormer said, “Microsoft’s landmark investment is a powerful confidence in UK’s leadership within AI and advanced technology.”
