Ulefone is preparing to reveal the armor pillow 5 Ultra, a device that seems to be intended to test the limits of what a sturdy tablet can be.
The unit has double versatile LED lights, double warning lights, a projector and a battery capacity that is more often associated with portable power plants.
The result is a product that seems more like an experiment in extremes than a conventional business tablet.
Heavy building and durability standards
At 27.8 mm thick and weighing 1.6 kg, Ulefone Armor Pad 5 Ultra is no light companion, and is actually heavier than many business -PCs on the market.
The device uses an 11-inch FHD+ LCD screen with an update speed of 90 Hz and brightness up to 600 nits.
More unusual is the built -in projector, which works at 200 lumens with a 960 x 540 resolution -but while exciting on paper, these numbers indicate modest performance compared to standalone projectors.
It also comes with a handle that acts as a position and suggests attempts to improve the projection device.
One of the most prominent features of the Armor Pad 5 Ultra is its 24,200 mAh battery, a specification that dwarves most competitors.
Ulefone promotes support for 120W charging and the ability to act as a 10W power bank for other electronics.
Such numbers sound impressive, yet demanding their real efficiency, heat management, long -term performance and general practical conditions independent verification.
Photography is another area where Ulefone seems to be determined to go beyond the standard expectations, and the armor pad 5 Ultra carries a 64MP main camera, an 64MP NAT-Vision sensor, double 1,000-nit-LED lightweights and a 32MP front camera.
The house on this unit comes with IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certifications, which means it must withstand water dip, dust and drops.
This shelf life requirement can appeal to field users, although its size and weight do daily load -bearing impractical compared to standard tablets or even robust smartphones.
Armor 5 Ultra is expected to be sent with Android 15 and is reportedly priced at $ 599, while the projector-free Pro model should cost $ 499.
Given the previous Armor Pad 4 Ultra Retails for about $ 380, Ulefone looks to test whether consumers will pay extra for unusual combinations of hardware.
