Spot Ether (ETH) Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFS) in the United States published their 11th straight day of net outflow and lost approx. $ 358.1 million of investor funds as the price of ether fell almost 7%.
On Tuesday, Blackrock’s Ishares Ethereum Trust Etf (ETHA) experienced $ 12.9 million of outflows and lost a net $ 137.6 million in the period. Fidelity’s Feth and Grayscales Ethe were the other two top contributors for the overall outflow.
In total, Spotether ETFs now hold approx. $ 7 billion of cryptocurrency, and despite the outflows, seen a cumulative net influx of $ 2.45 billion since their start in July, Sosovalue shows data.
The price of ether fell from around $ 2,150 on March 8 to about $ 1,990 from Thursday. It has lost approx. 40% of its value year to date.
The US Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs in the US in contrast published a fourth consecutive influx, which brought their cumulative Netto flow to $ 35.8 billion since January last year.
