The US Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USAPC) has announced that it will comply with President Donald Trump’s “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” executive order.
The USOPC’s Policy Policy Policy policy page now contains a note that reads, “As of July 21, 2025, refer to the USOPC Athlete Safety Policy.”
This policy does not lay any clear guidelines for trans -cluttering in women’s sports. However, it includes a section that directly cites President Donald Trump’s “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” executive order.
“The USOPC will continue to cooperate with various stakeholders with supervisory responsibility … to ensure that women have a fair and secure competition environment that complies with executing order 14201,” the policy reads.
Pakinomist Digital has reached the USOPC for comment.
The United States fence was one of the first US Olympic organizations to publicly announced that it has updated its gender eligibility policy after months of criticism for having allowed biological men to compete in the women’s category.
The organization seemed to update its policy last week to include the following requirements to compete in domestic women’s competitions: “Athletes who are of the female gender provided that all other access criteria are met.”
The new policy will take effect from next month.

The previous politics stated: “To participate in a US-fence-sanctioned event, athletes must register with US fence as the gender they identify,” adds that biological men “can only compete in women’s events after completing a calendar year (12 months) of testosterone oppression treatment.”
At the end of April, the United States fence announced that it was preparing to change its gender eligibility policy to ensure that the women’s category would be “open exclusively to athletes of the female sex.” The new official policy does not include the “exclusively” language used in April’s proposal.
The US Fence has refused to clarify for Pakinomist Digital if the new policy explicitly prevents all biological men from competing in women’s events. The US Fence also refused to specify how it will enforce the new policy, whether mandatory sex testing will be implemented or whether it will accept changed birth certificates as evidence of birth sex.
The United States fence concerned the new policy in a public statement and claimed that the change came in response to new guidelines released by the USAPC.

US Fence recognized the trial in a statement to Pakinomist Digital.
“The United States fence proudly serves its members – athletes, coaches, judges and clubs – across our community with absolute transparency and integrity. This derived trial mistakenly represents our organization, and we will vigorously defend the organization in court; any attempt to separate them will be treated appropriately,” the statement reads.
“Because litigation is in progress, we cannot discuss details. Our focus remains unshakable: to promote fence nationwide, support each member’s success and maintain the values of the Olympic and Paralympic Movement.”
