US fence chairman Damien Lehfeldt managed a photo sent to his private Instagram account on Wednesday, showing that he stopped with two fingers.

Lehfeldt’s first photo seemed to show him that he was holding a middle finger in front of a hearing in front of congress legislators about keeping men out of women’s sports. The picture showed that his second finger was cropped out of the picture.

A caption that read “Game Day” was placed on top of the picture.

USA fence shared the full “non -eliminated” photo from Lehfeldt with Pakinomist Digital. The independent advice for women’s sports (icons) did not seem to prune the image.

The hearing comes weeks after Fencer Stephanie Turner kneeled in protest of a transient opponent at an event. It triggered indignation against the organization and it made Turner go away from the sport completely.

The organization said last month that it was preparing to change its current policies that allow biological men to compete with women and girls in case it is “forced” to change them.

“In the event that the US fence is forced to change its current attitude in accordance with supervisory bodies or federal legislation, the new political states must, athletes competing in the US hencing-sanctioned tournaments compete according to their biological gender,” the announcement reads.

The proposed updated policy ensures that women’s category “will be open exclusively to athletes of the female gender.” The category of the gentlemen “will be open to all other athletes who are otherwise eligible for competition.”

The change comes into force across sanctioned competitive levels, including department I, IA, II, III, Junior, Kadet, Youth, Veteran and all other categories.

“If adopted, this policy is solely to ensure future compliance required by supervisory organizations. This policy does not reflect any change in our strong support to each person’s right to identity,” the message read.

“We acknowledge that many people-noticing transk and non-binary athletes and their supporters in fence clubs nationwide-will be deeply affected if this policy comes into force.”

Turner is expected to be a witness during the hearing along with Payton McNabb, the former volleyball, which suffered catastrophic injuries as a result of a tip from a transgender athlete.
