The US Cycling has made a statement to Pakinomist Digital, which addresses social media posts from the transnry athlete Chelsea Wolfe – an alternative in BMX to the United States at Tokyo -ol – celebrating Charlie Kirk’s murder this week.

“The views of the current and former national team athletes are their own and do not reflect the view of the United States cycling. Chelsea Wolfe has not been a member of the US Cycling National Team or a member of the United States cycling since 2023,” the statement reads.

Wolfe’s statements on social media made via the Instagram story included a re-division of news about Kirk’s assault with an animated caption that read “We did it!” And a selfie with a caption that suggested that Kirk was a “Nazi.”

“Being a Nazi is completely optional BTW. He didn’t have to do all that, but he did, and now he’s dead. Don’t live your life in a way the world is better after your death,” Wolfe wrote.

Wolfe has since been the subject of setback on social media. Women’s tennis legislative and well -known liberal Martina Navritolva and conservative influencer Riley Gaines have been among those who criticize Wolfe in public.

Wolfe looked to recognize the setback in a post on Thursday night and shared a meme with the headline that read, “Your boos mean nothing. I’ve seen what makes you cheer.”

Wolfe Previously said In a Facebook post from March 2020, the athlete hoped to “burn the American flag” at Tokyo -ol.

“My goal is to win the Olympics so I can burn an American flag on the podium. This is what they focus on during a pandemic. Haired transchildren,” Wolfe wrote on Facebook on March 25, 2020.

The US Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USAPC) has previously hired a gender eligibility policy that enabled biological men to compete in the women’s category at the time of Wolfe’s status as an Olympic alternative in 2021.

USAPC changed its athletic security policy in July to suggest that it will comply with President Donald Trump’s “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” executive order.

US Cycling released an updated policy earlier in September that limited competitors in the women’s category for women, defined as “female means a person belonging to conception to the gender that produces the great reproductive cell.”

Law enforcement authorities worked feverishly in the wake of Kirk’s death to track and arrest the suspect who announced Friday was Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old Utah man Utah Gov. Spencer Cox confirmed Friday.

The rifle, which federal investigators believe was used in the shooting, contained ammunition enrolled with anti -fascist messages that shed light on the suspected motive. A used lining pipe and three unused cabinets contained the writings, Cox said.

FBI Director Kash Patel Laid the timeline of the investigation on Friday and said it took the FBI and Utah Law Enforcement 33 hours to make an arrest. Patel said the authorities made “historical progress” in such a short time.

COX called the shooting a “political murder on Friday.”
