The Crypto market draws water, and the largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, takes a bull breath. Its upward momentum is suffocated by Trump’s renewed customs threats, which also sends gold prices soaring to detect heights and demand for the US dollar.
But there is action in some corners of the market. The virtual token jumped after its recent list on Upbit, and Hyperliquid’s Hype -Token has seen a 3%win. Litecoin also creates waves with the open interest in centralized exchanges of its eternal futures, climbing 5.19 million LTC, most since December 9, according to Coinglass. The wave suggests fresh capital flowing into the market, probably driven by hope of a spot ETF list in the US
When we talk about stableecoins, the USDC steals the limelight as a star artist this month and boasts a remarkable market of 21% to $ 53.12 billion. It’s the best month since May 2021, according to TradingView data. In contrast, USDT, the heavy weight master of dollar-pegged stableecoins, there was only a 1%increase. USDC even surpassed Bitcoin, which grew a respectable 10%.
According to Intotheblock, USDC’s is better than its compliance with Europe’s Mica rules, while rivals like USDT are facing harsh heads. But don’t count usded out yet; Its market begins to jump back and the simultaneous growth of USDC offers a bullish impulse to the crypto market.
When we keep an eye on the macro landscape, the central American core PCE-Fed’s Go-to Measurement for Inflation is set to be released. Expectations are for a hot headline figure with core reading that excludes food and energy that shows positive improvements that can help BTC break out of its dull price action near $ 104,000.
However, ing warns that the dollar may remain strong this weekend.
“If we do not receive any news about Canada and Mexico by the end of today, there is a risk that the dollar can strengthen further when the market starts to price in a greater chance that tariffs were announced tomorrow,” wrote it. So stay aware!
