Usher and Keke Palmer have opened up their viral 2023 concert moment.
During an episode of Kekes Podcast, Baby, this is Keke PalmerReflected Usher on their onstage dance, which made headlines due to drama about Kekes then girlfriend, Darius Jackson.
For those who did not realize, Darius tweeted at the time that shares a 2-year-old son with the singer and actress, “It’s the clothes that … you are a mother,” triggered debate online.
Now Keke remembered under the podcast, “my reaction [to the show] Was like ‘I can’t believe it, I haven’t seen anyone appear like this for so long.’ “
She said, “Now, obviously, everyone got crazy. We caused something Ruckus in my relationship.”
Usher, however, clarified, “I will take no responsibility to break everyone’s home, but that was not the purpose and point.”
“It was for you to have a good time with your girls. Come out there and just enjoy … You looked fabulous, by the way. And if you didn’t have what you were wearing, I wouldn’t have seen you. You were fabulous, fantastic.
Keke noted, “People have problems. Relationships have ups and downs. If Usher ends up being there, it’s just coincidence.”
In addition, Usher also shared that just a month after the incident, he invited Keke Palmer to play the lead role in his Boyfriend Music video.
“I know it was a warm moment for you and I was like, ‘you know what? When life feeds you with lemons, you are doing lemonade. I think this could be something positive and actually just shine a little fun On it and to really allow us to do something that I think could be fun is the purpose and point of it, “Usher said.
