Varsities leads rallies toward India’s threats

Beting of the burning hot, University of Karachi (KU) and Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) organized Monday’s powerful protest meetings to condemn Indian aggression, irresponsible actions and threats to unilaterally suspended the Indus Waters Treaty.

With passionate song, waving flags and decisive faces, students, faculty and staff came out in large numbers to express unwavering support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and armed forces and sent a clear message of unity and resistance in the light of external threats.

Led by the University of Karachis Rector, Professor Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi, was a witness to strong participation from faculty members, students and non-teaching staff, all of whom are in line with their resistance to India’s aggressive attitude.

The demonstration began on the university’s administrative building and ended at Azadi Chowk. Participants wore banners and posters condemning India’s threats and expressing solidarity with Pakistan.

Slogans like “Pakistan Zindabad”, “India, Back Off” and “Long live the Pakistani Army” repeated throughout the event.

According to the media, Dr. Iraqi that India’s actions pose a serious threat not only to Pakistan, but to regional peace and stability.

He confirmed that the Indus Waters Treaty is an internationally recognized agreement that cannot be suspended one -sided.

“Suspending the Indus Waters Treaty is a calculated attempt to jeopardize Pakistan’s agriculture, economy and livelihood,” he warned. “

He also encouraged students to channel their knowledge, unity and patriotism towards national development and solidarity.

Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) also organized a demonstration to protest against Indian aggression and to demonstrate unwavering patriotism.

The atmosphere was electric with the wave of national flags, passionate patriotic song and an in -depth view of love for the home country.

Participants wore posters and banners with slogans. The rally began with National Anthem, followed by a lively march led by the students.
