Senator Faisal Vawda has said that the anchor Arshad Sharif was murdered and that a lot of “big people” will be subjected to trial if his case is opened.

When he spoke with the anchor of a private news channel on Tuesday, Vawda clarified that former Prime Minister Imran Khan was not involved in this murder, but “he knew something would happen.”

Vawda, who served as a federal minister in Imran Khan’s cabinet, asked why former minister and PTI leader Murad Saeed hid since Sharif’s killing.

He claimed that Arshad Sharif was close to the establishment and PTI. “A number of links will be revealed when the case is investigated,” he added.

The former PTI leader once again accused Imran Khan’s third wife Bushra Bibi of the PTI founder’s situation. He said the party used to arrange protests and sit-in even before the 2018 year, when Imran married the Bushra men it didn’t resort to violence at that time.

He claimed that the relationship between establishment and Imran Khan began to get sour only after a former ISI manager – the established chief of staff General Syed Asim Munir – provided evidence of Bushra and her cohort’s corruption to IMRAN.

“Instead of rewarding and appreciating General Munir, Imran removed him overnight. It has never happened before that DG Isi was changed at 10 pm, and at 22.45, the new DG Isi, Faiz Hameed has heard of such an incident in the story, ”he said.
