Victoria Beckham has opened to how she really feels like looking back at her time as a Spice Girl.
In a new interview with Sunday Times Style MagazineFashion designer and former pop star revealed that being asked about her Spice Girl’s past can still be “quite triggering.”
“I’ve been defined by a four -year period in my life. It was Spice Girls,” Beckham reflected.
“It has taken me almost two decades to fight it, and I feel that I can only now look back and talk about it. I will not lie, be asked when I was in Spice Girls, was quite triggering.”
The Wannabe Hitmakers formed in 1994 became a global phenomenon with their “girl power” message and various personas, scary, sporty, baby, ginger and posh spice.
Beckham, famous known as Posh Spice, chose to focus on her fashion empire instead of joining the band’s reunion tour in 2019.
“And I would say it was the most difficult moments,” she added.
“It was almost like therapy for me.”
