NFL Journeyman Carson Wentz has signed an agreement with his childhood team.

After spending his last season with Philadelphia Eagles in 2020Wentz has played on four teams in the last four years (Colts, Commanders, Rams, Chiefs). He will now manage it five in five years after the signing of a contract with the Minnesota Vikings. It is unclear what the terms of the contract were.

The decision to sign Wentz comes shortly after a coincidental step in which Minnesota sent backup Sam Howell to Eagles. For that tradePhiladelphia got a further choice of the fourth round, while Minnesota received a fifth and seventh round pick in return.
