Minnesota Vikings Quarterback Carson Wentz entered the dressing room before the first half was finished on Sunday against Cleveland Browns with a left shoulder problem.
Wentz shrank and tried to get a first late in the second quarter. He ran out of the field and went into the blue medical tent before jogging back to the dressing room to be checked out.

The Vikings were already down in a quarterback when JJ McCarthy was on repair with a right high ankle sprain. Wentz, a veteran who was signed during the high season, had worked well in the first two starts he received, but the damage to London raised the eyebrows.
Former NFL -Linebacker Jonathan Vilma was at the request of the NFL network with Kenny Albert. He was critical of Wentz’s decision making in the game by knowing that the team was strongly on him in this fact.

“It’s an understatement to say, ‘a big loss’ if he doesn’t come back,” said the three-time pro bowl defender. “I was actually surprised, frankly, a little disappointed with Wentz knowing that you are the only guy. Brosmer is a rookie -quarterback. You won’t take these shots.
“Usually veterans, you see them across the league, they just go down, and instead it’s fourth down and they’ll call it one day. It was actually the second time he didn’t go down and tried to run for a first down. I get the competitive character, but it’s tough.”

Wentz was originally questionable to return to the field, but he was back under the center of the team in the third quarter with a pillow around his left shoulder.

He has 523 passing yards and four touchdown passes in two starts for Minnesota this year.
