Vin Diesel just left Fast & Furious fans shocked with a surprise announcement.
The 58-year-old shared a post on social media hinting at a potential appearance by popular footballer Cristiano Ronaldo in the upcoming Fast movie.
However, the caption on the post was changed when he first mentioned that Ronaldo will reportedly star in the prequel to the franchise titled Los Bandoleros in 2009, but it did not happen.
But now the caption on the post confirms that there is a role specifically written for the footballer in the upcoming one Fast & Furious 11.
Along with a picture, Vin wrote: “Everybody was asking if he wanted to be in the Fast mythology… I have to tell you he’s a real one. We wrote a role for him…”
After the announcement, the internet was flooded with reactions from fans who think it’s going to be “wild”.
One of them wrote: “We also got Cristiano in Fast X before GTA 6. This is crazy.”
Another fan commented: “Vin Diesel is the only actor to get Neymar and now Cristiano in a movie. The next one will be Messi.”
Fixed X: Part 2 is set for release in April 2027. It will reunite Diesel with Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Momoa, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Sung Kang.
