Virginia Cavaliers fans had a reason to celebrate Friday night.
Cavaliers Quarterback Chandler Morris scored on a 4-yard race on the second overtime to anesthetize No. 8 Florida State, 46-38. It’s their first home win over a top 10 team since Virginia defeated Seminoles in 2005.

Virginia can expect a fine for the field storming. ACC introduced a new policy that fines schools for field and basketball storms. The first offense results in a $ 50,000. Another violation is $ 100,000, and a third offense or more over a two-year rolling period will be a fine of $ 200,000.
Morris was 26-of-35 with 229 passing yards, two touchdown passes and three interceptions. Running back J’Mari Taylor ran in 99 yards and a 27 bearer touchdown.

Florida State’s Castellanos was 18-of-32 with 254 passing yards, a touchdown pass and two interceptions. He also added a touchdown on earth.
