High School Track Runner, which suffered a concussion after being hit from behind with a baton, looks like she wants to be back on the field this weekend.
Kaelen Tucker’s father told TMZ Sports that his daughter has been cleared to compete at Adidas Track Nationals this weekend in Virginia Beach; She is currently scheduled to attend three events.
IC Norcom High School Senior Alaila Everett gave Brookville Junior a concussion and possible skull fracture as she beat her head with the baton at an event earlier this month.

Everett claims the attack took place because she lost her balance, and her baton stuck “firmly” behind her opponent’s back. Everett and his entire team were disqualified.
“After a few times hit her, my baton housing was firmly behind her back like this, and it rolled up her back. I lost balance when I pumped my arms again. She was hit,” Everett said in an interview with wavy. “I know my intentions and I would never beat anyone on purpose.”
Everett held a rally of supporters days after the attack shortly after she was served with a wrongdoing assault tax.

Everett gave a tearful speech where she thanked her followers as she cried.
“Thank you, everything for supporting me,” Everett said to the supporters, as seen in recordings of locals Virginia News Station Wavy. “There is no one else who wanted to hear my story except the people who know me and people who know that I would never do anything like that I would never hurt anyone. I’m not a fighter. I’m not even confronting, I wouldn’t even do it on purpose and I thank you for believing in me.”
According to Milstat, Tucker competes in the girls’ 60-meter strike, 200 meters and 4×200-meter baton, the same race where she suffered the damage.

Everett is not competing. In fact, only a student from her school, Dontae Riddick, will compete in Boys ’60 meter Dash.
