Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Well aware of her position on whether she believes women and girls should be protected from trans-inclusion in sports.

Warren was seen giving an exaggerated thumb down gesture while voting no about the protection of women and girls in the Sports Act on Monday night.

Warren held the thumb down for several seconds in the light of the clerk who held his voice. The clerk even had to tell Warren, “I got you” to assure her that her vote had been spoken when the senator held her gesture for an exaggerated amount of time.

Recordings of the senator’s gesture gained widespread setbacks on social media, especially by women’s rights activists.

The Independent Council of Women’s Sports Founder Marshi Smith condemned Warren in a response to X.

“Hard to believe that someone could hate little girls who just want a place on the girls team and the girls’ podium so much,” Smith wrote.

British UK-based feminist YouTuber Kellie-Jay Keen questioned how someone in the United States could vote for someone like Warren in an X-answer.

“Why should any woman in the United States continue to support these women who hate one-holes?” Keen wrote.

Feminist author Kara Dansky, a Democrat, responded to the clip by sending a long x response that included a note she wrote to Warren prior to the 2020 election.

“The Democratic Party pushes the story that ‘Transgender’ and ‘Queer’ belong in the same category as gay rights, and it is problematic for several reasons: (1) It is not true, (2) it is bad for women and girls, and (3) it is likely to lead to a loss in 2020,” Dansky released.

Warren has a story with support for trans -cluttering in women’s and girls’ sports and even called legislation to prevent it “cruel”.

In February 2020, Warren condemned an Arizona State Bill, Save Women’s Sports Act that would have prevented biological men from competing in girls’ sports.

“Trans athletes are not a threat,” Warren wrote at X (then known as Twitter). “We need to protect transchildren – and all LGBTQ+ children – and make sure they feel safe and welcome in school. I urge Arizona legislation to reject this cruel bill.”

Now, Warren has helped prevent a bill that would offer female athletes the same protection at national level.

Republicans needed 60 votes, but received only 51. No Democrats are sitting with Republicans on the bill. Two Democrats were absent from the vote, as are two Republicans. The bill failed, 51-45.

During a recent conversation about CNN’s “The Arena With Kasie Hunt,” Warren was asked why she thought Democrats lost against President Donald Trump in November and if the party had moved too far to the left culturally. Warren’s answer indicated she didn’t think that was the case.

“I think the problem is that we didn’t make it clear what we are fighting for and really coming out there and fighting for it. Our job right now is pretty straightforward. Just tell the truth,” Warren said.

ONE National Exit Poll Made by the affected women for America Legislative Action Committee found that 70% of moderate voters saw the issue of “Donald Trump’s resistance to trans -bright boys and men playing girls and women’s sports and by transient boys and men using girls and women’s bathrooms” as important to them.

In addition, 6% said it was the most important question of all, while 44% said it was “very important.”

Meanwhile, a recent New York Times/Ipsos vote found that the vast majority of Americans, including 67% of Democrats, do not believe trans athletes should be able to compete in women’s sports.

Last month, a Gallup vote also showed a 45% plurality of Democrats and democratically inclined independents who said they wanted the party to become more moderate, an increase of 11-point rise since the beginning of President Joe Bid’s period in 2021.

The Democratic Party have largely fought Since Trump’s election in 2024. In a Quinnipiac University study conducted in Trump’s first week in office, only 31% of the respondents had a favorable view of the Democratic Party.

Now, with the Senates Democrats who voted unanimously to block the protection of women and girls in the sports law, many activists, including Riley Gaines, have promised to help seat the senators preventing it from passing.
