The truly elders of the South Waziristan have confirmed their decision to stand shoulder to the shoulder with the security forces until they are eliminated by the threat of terror.
A significant and historic Grand Jirga from Mehsud and Burki Tribal Elders was held in the Spinkai Raghzai area of South Waziristan on Sunday.
Frontier Corps (FC) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (South) Inspector General attended the tribal meeting as a main guest.
Under Jirga, the tribulous oldest rich tribute to the Pakistani Army and FC paid tribute to their victims to secure lasting peace.
They also confirmed their decision to stand shoulder to shoulder with security forces until the complete elimination of the threat from Khawarij.
“Khawarij” is a term used to refer to terrorists belonging to forbidden Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The main guest recognized the unmatched victims of the tribal people in the fight against TTP.
He also highlighted the importance of the oldest role in keeping the younger generation away from the negative propaganda of anti-state elements.
He also appreciated the services of local people who have excelled in different areas, and described their dedication, hard work and positive contributions as role models for the region.
In the apartment, IG FC assured that the Mehsud tribes, working on Gurbaz for the Mangrotai Road project, would begin soon.
The tribal blades paid tribute to the efforts of the Pakistani Army and FC to promote development projects and promote girls’ education.
