In a media release, Warner Bros. Discovery finally announced when its HBO streaming service is launched in Australia, and that’s a lot before than you might have imagined.
Max comes to Australia on March 31 and puts it within the “first half of next year” delivered by WBD back in September.

Alongside Max, WBD and FoPel also announced the reversal of a new page in their partnership. There is no word yet about how FoXel now subscriptions will be included in the equation.
Warner Bros. Discovery announced last year that it wanted to extend its relationship with FoXel to it directly to consumer room, and this agreement does just that.

“We have a clear strategy for maximizing range through our direct-to-consumer app and distribution partnerships, and our collaboration with FoXel at launch is a testimony to it. We can’t wait for fans across the country to experience max. “
