- Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang praises Trump -Tolds rates
- “Idea Completely Visionary” should help increase investment in us, says Huang
- Huang also praises AI -Diffusion Rule Breeding and says it will help speed up American tech all over the world
Nvidia CEO has praised the tariffs recently imposed by US President Donald Trump on nations around the world, calling them “completely visionary”.
Talking to Bloomberg After Nvidia’s recent quarterly results, Jensen Huang was Effusive with his support for customs and for Trump personally.
Nvidia had revealed the record quarters’ revenue of about $ 44 billion, so it may not be surprising that Huang was eager to remain on good terms with the president and remain the right side of potential customs changes in the near future.
“We are all in”
“Obviously, I don’t know all his ideas, but let me tell you about two that are incredible,” Huang said.
“The first is a complete visionary. The idea that tariffs are a pillar with a bold vision to industrialize to produce onshore and motivate the world to invest in the US is just an incredible vision. I think this will be a transformative idea for the next century for us.”
“We are all with the idea,” he declared. “We create plants and encourage our partners from around the world to invest in the US, and we have a lot of things going on, and that’s why I’m very excited about it.”
“The other big idea,” Continued Huang, “is to resign AI Diffusion role and acknowledge that this is not about limiting American technology, but it is about speeding American stacks around the world to make sure that it is too late for the world to build on American stacks in this extraordinary time, the AI era.”
“These two initiatives are completely visionary and it will be transformative for America.”
Huang’s comments come a day after HP CEO Enrique Lores revealed that his company would raise prices for dealing with rising costs incurred by customs.
Lores noted that the company would be forced to take what he called “price actions”, rising effectively across PC and hardware printing and no longer using the United States as a distribution node for products sold in Canada or to Latin America.
Huang has often looked at expanding the virtues of the new AI-run society, where Nvidia has a critical role in operating the new systems.
Huang, who spoke at the recent Dell Technology World 2025 event, called the current technology landscape, “An opportunity for once in a lifetime – in the last 60 years this is the biggest reinvention that you and I have seen.”
“This is incredibly exciting technology – you will engage it. The impact of your business is incredible – and you will be an early adopter.”
“This is the beginning of a decade of transformation. But you won’t be other – this is the time and you will be first.”
