The iPhone 17 series is just around the corner -we expect full revelations to iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max on Apple’s “Awe Dropping” event on September 9.
In the middle of the rumors at the last minute, a remarkable tipster and leaks have shared photos that allegedly show a new crossbody strap accessory for Apple’s upcoming tech woven cases for the iPhone 17 family.
The well -known tech tipster Sonny Dickson shared the pictures in a post to X showing a woven strap in light orange. Eye -catching, safe, but not exactly exciting on your own. In fact, we have no way of verifying Dickson’s claim that this is an actual Apple product.
But if we look back on earlier rumors about the mentioned tech woven cases, things will start sharing together. In August 2025, Colleague Delicious Majin BU shared a picture that allegedly shows two boxed Apple Tech -woven cases for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. On the back of one of the boxes is mentioned compatibility with a “Crossbody Strap” – which may be the bright orange cord shown in Sonny Dickson’s post.
The ends of the crossbody strap appear to have some kind of fabric or elastic loop that could tie around the room at the bottom of the tech -woven case highlighted in a chart shown in the pictures Majin BU shared. It looks like other colors would be produced with orange, but this has not yet been confirmed.
Wearing your iPhone
Apparently, the crossbody strap and tech-woven case combination could allow iPhone users to carry their phone-free-rest in justice would require some security in the strength of both the strap and the case. It is not a new concept (case producers like Casetify offering similar cases), but it would be Apple’s first attempt at such a product, so some insurance or demonstration would be nice.
Still, I’m not sure you would catch me walking around with a $ 999 / £ 999 / AU $ 1,849 phone dangling from a piece of fabric. I’m sure Apple would have tested both products largely before they even considered going to the market, but I would still be worried about thieves to look at my smart new iPhone.
Crossbody Strap is also evocative of camera wrapps that appear to fit the iPhone’s orbit against photography – there are various camera upgrades that are joined for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, and there is a very likely to be a camera control capitative shutter button that make it Models of the Year. For the needs of the daily user, Crossbody Strap could make iPhone a viable replacement for a point-and-shoot camera.
However, it is all speculative for now. Tell us what you think about wearing your iPhone with the Crossbody strap in the comments below.
