According to a new report from the South Korean marketing market (via Sammobile), mass production for the two collapsible phones is set to begin in May, as per. Information obtained from Samsung Display – which of course delivers screens.
The news fits well with a July launch, and the article itself mentions a foldable phone launch in “The Second Half of the Year” (according to Google Translate). Samsung will undoubtedly arrange another of its unpacked launch events for the occasion.
We do not get much information here about the rumored Galaxy Z Flip Fe or the tri-fold that Samsung has confirmed is on the way. The report suggests that these devices will appear in the fourth quarter of 2025 – October, November or December.
Rumors so far
Different rumors and leaks have hovered around when it comes to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the overall impression we’ve got is that there will be some decent upgrades from Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
It would be a surprise if these phones did not come to run the Snapdragon 8 elite chips, which has been seen in benchmarks for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and the foldable Book style has also been tipped for improving cameras and a slimmer design.
As for the Galaxy Z-FLIP 7, there has been a full-size tire screen that is fully wrapped around the cameras, which should make the exterior show more useful. We have also heard that there is possibly a noticeable unevenness in battery capacity.
Both of these phones could also make their debut running a UI 8, which is based on Android 16.
