Tom Holland has officially revealed the first full look at the new costume he will wear in Spider-Man: Brand new day – And I’m immediately in love with it.
Just 24 hours after an all for brief Brand new day Video teased Spider-Man’s new attire, a new teaser released by Sony Pictures, shows the Super Dragon in all its glory.

The 22nd other long video that was uploaded to Sony’s YouTube channel today (August 2nd) begins with the somewhat melancholy Spider-Man-Klaver-based theme we heard in yesterday’s recordings. When some hang bay doors open and easily rush from the outside, we see the silhouette of the Netherlands having his back to the camera jogging on the spot as he prepares for what could be his first day on Brand new day Set in Glasgow, Scotland.
Around the 0:10 mark, the Netherlands suddenly turns and goes towards the camera. As he approaches it, he smiles as he reveals the new costume of the webings. Holland then looks over to someone off the screen, asking “We ready?”, Looking back in the lens, smiling again and going off, presumably to start shooting his next Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie.
The first thing to note about Spidey’s new Garb is that it seems to be an updated version of the suit he has seen in the last scene of Spider-Man: No way home. Apart from the raised webbing on the outside of the suit and the black logo that loves the breast area, it seems to be an accurate match to the aforementioned ensemble.
What is even more interesting, though, is that Spidey’s new gear looks like it is paying tribute to Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s live-action quotes of the character. The raised webbing is a clear tribute to Maguires costume, while the black, slim logo is an obvious nod to the emblem that adorned Garfield’s suit.
In view of the Netherlands, Maguire and Garfields Wallcrawlers went together in No way home Through some Multiverse Shenanigans, it is clear that these more experienced Peter Parkers left a lasting impression on the Dutch version. It is therefore not surprising that he would honor paired by incorporating aspects of their costumes into his own. What a nice guy!
Spider-Man: Brand new day is currently intended to be released on July 31, 2026. And with filming that is finally underway on Spidey’s next big screen adventure, we are sure to learn even more about the Marvel phase 6 movie as the main photography continues in the coming weeks and months.
