Former Prime Minister Imran Khan was allowed a second meeting with his wife, Bushra Bibi, within a period of two weeks. The meeting was held in the conference room of Adiala Jail and lasted for 45 minutes. Imran and Bushra are both detained in the same prison facility.
According to prison sources, the meeting took place on Tuesday.
The PTI founder was moved from his barracks to the conference room, while Bushra Bibi, who is detained in the women’s barracks, was also brought there. The meeting between the husband and the wife was conducted under the supervision of the prison police.
Sources said a similar meeting had also been arranged last Tuesday in accordance with court orders and prison manual rules. During the meeting, both inquired about each other’s well-being and held a conversation.
Jail sources further revealed that the jail administration also received some important items from Bushra’s lawyer on Tuesday.
