Chase had 49 races and Greaves wasn’t out in 26 with an exciting selection of fours and sixes in a game shortened by rain delays in Tarouba.

Previously, West Indies’ bad start was stabilized by Shertaby Rutherford’s 33-ball 45 to put home ground in the driving seat.

Chase sealed the deal by managing a delivery from Hasan Ali through coverage for four, and he beat the air in partying.

“I am happy with the victory. We had to come in and smooth out the series, so very happy,” said Chase, who was appointed man of the match.

The crucial third match of the series takes place in the same place on Tuesday.
