These are just some of the questions for debate as consensus 2025 starts in Toronto this Wednesday. Crypto’s oldest “big tent” event this year in the Metro Toronto Convention Center.

Crypto is the front-and-center in the national conversation, and this year’s event will include many names that make news and make waves.

Eric Trump, whose mining start, American Bitcoin, announced this morning that it is planning to become public is a headline speaker Thursday.

We hear from Bo Hines, head of the Presidents Council for Counselors for Digital Assets, on the Strategy of the White House to adopt crypto legislation this year.

Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, sits for a fireplace to discuss crypto culture, memcoins and the future of investment.

There is an open money summit with the biggest names in Defi, a brand and creator meeting for companies that are placing for the next phase of the Internet, and an AI summit with a packed schedule for speakers at the intersection of AI and Blockchain.

Other headline speakers include Chris Pavlovski (Rumble), Charles Hoskinson (Cardano), Kevin O’Leary (Shark Tank), Adrienne Harris (Nydfs), Justin Sun, David Gyer and dozens more from across the crypto and blockchain industry.
