What is Google Gemini?
Gemini is the collective name for several components that together make up Google’s AI offers. All of these are supported by a large language model released as Gemini in December 2023. The company’s chatbot was previously called Bard, but this was brought under the Gemini umbrella in February 2024. There is also Gemini for the work area that utilizes the AI Model to improve Sky -based productivity.
In its core, Gemini is a multimodal model that can process text, code, audio and image -based queries. There are several versions of this model. What can’t you use Google Gemini for?
Like most of the best AI chatbots, there are restrictions on the kind of content that Gemini can generate. For example, it will try to avoid copyright or offensive material. There are also limits to the depth of some of its abilities. For example, while it can generate code, it is not a complete software development tool.

In our practical review of Gemini on an Android smartphone we found it a really useful alternative to Google Assistant. We noticed some bugs, but many of them have been ironed since, with lots of new features added. We appreciated its integration with apps such as Maps and Gmail, as well as how dialogue with the chatbot encouraged creativity, though Faux humanity grids.
In a newer review of Gemini 2.0 flash, we found the model faster, smarter and more accurate than before, making Chatbot a more compelling tool. We found its answer clear, concise and creative.
There is still room for improvement. Gemini is not immune to inaccuracies and reviews elsewhere has reported that the model may misunderstand the details of what it is being asked. Still, Google’s AI tool has a lot to do for the — Issky with the impressive real-time benefit of Gemini Live.

So capable as it is, Gemini is still very much an ongoing job. New features and integrations are found in Pipeline, but you have to accept certain restrictions when using Google’s Chatbot right now.
