9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 1 is perhaps just the wildest series of debut we have had all year and. Fortunately, we don’t have long to wait until it falls.
Season 8 followed another series of jaw -emerging emergencies, resulting in the deadly virus outbreak that ultimately took Bobby’s (Peter Krause) life. I’m still not over his heartbreaking funeral, but life has passed on to widow Athena (Angela Bassett).
If you haven’t already seen the new trailer for the Hulu and Disney+ series (you can see it below), Athena and Huer (Aisha Hinds) are set to get your way to the room. Why? I can’t say.

Good news, cadets: 9-1-1 Season 9 Section 1 falls on Thursday, October 9which is a week earlier than originally scheduled. American fans will be able to catch it at 8/7C on ABC, with it hitting our favorite streaming services shortly after (more about it below).

As hardened 9-1-1 Fans will know that there will be a mid -season, with the last half of Season 9, which looks like it is coming once in 2026.
However, it is too early to confirm when this break can be, as section 7 feels a little early if we look at the roll -out of previous seasons.
This also assumes that there are no unexpected weekly delays between season 9 -episodes – as 9-1-1 is primarily a network show, is historically subject to temporary delays.
