We’re only in one episode Farmer season 2, and somehow Tommy’s (Billy Bob Thornton) life has managed to take a dramatic turn for the worse. Not only is wife Angela (Ali Larter) throwing plates of spaghetti at him, but his mother died in the final moments of episode 1.
Tommy’s father TL (Sam Elliott) is now in the picture, with Tommy needing to make some sort of dysfunctional penance for his mother’s death. We have yet to see how their relationship develops, but it won’t be straightforward.

When will new episodes of Landman season 2 be released?
Farmer season 2 opts for an almost weekly drop, with episodes running from November 16th to January 18th. In other words, our Christmas fun has already been taken into account.
I say “almost” as episodes 8 and 9 are currently set to drop at the same time on January 4, 2026, which is again perfect timing for the post-festive hibernation.
The full season schedule looks something like this:
