Raise your hands if you’re surprised by that South Park season 28 episode 2 has been delayed again! If you are eagle-eyed, your hands should stay firmly down.
“Thanks to Comedy Central and South Park fans for being super understanding. Tune in next week!”
But it turns out there has been another delay for Episode 2 since this statement was published. If you’re not too tired to keep up with all the changes, here’s what you actually need to know about what’s next South Park the episode’s release date.
What is the launch time of South Park season 28 episode 2?

Unusually for the show, South Park season 28 episode 2 is now broadcast on 31 October at 10pm ET/9pm CT on Comedy Central. This means that the episode will then be available to stream on Paramount+ on November 1st at 6:00 ET/5:00 CT.
Fortunately, this will be the only episode to air on a Friday, simply because Episode 2 will be a Halloween special. Comedy Central is running reruns on October 29 in the usual episode schedule, which includes last week’s season 28 premiere episode (surprise, we’ve switched seasons after five episodes).
For international fans, here’s where you can expect Season 28 Episode 2 to air:
- US – 7:00 p.m. PT / 10:00 p.m. ET
- Canada – 7:00 p.m. PT / 10:00 p.m. ET
- Great Britain – 02:00 GMT
- India – 7:30 AM IST
- Singapore – 10:00 a.m. SGT
- Australia – 12pm AEST
- New Zealand – 15:00 NZST
When are new episodes of South Park season 28 coming out?

Fortunately, South Park has already told us exactly when we can expect the rest of Season 28 to air, with new episodes arriving on November 12th, November 26th, and December 10th. How much we should trust the above X/Twitter post I’m not too sure since the October 29th release date changed at the last minute.
What we can count on, however, is that the comedy will continue to air once every two weeks.
The existing two-week delay in the Season 27 schedule started with the Season 27 premiere having an unexpected delay, which bled into Episode 2, with episodes airing every two weeks from then on.
Creators eventually confirmed that they needed more time to get episodes ready for fans, explaining, “There’s so much happening right now in just one day with Trump. Nobody’s going to sacrifice getting it right, even if we have to push to get it to air, and if it makes the season longer, so be it.”
