It’s almost time to return to Hawkins. Part 2 of Stranger Things season 5 is premiering on Netflix soon, so you’ll want to know when it’s coming out in your area.

It looks like Santa has one last gift to give us on Christmas Day. It’s because Stranger Things‘ fifth and final season returns to our screens on that date – ie Thursday, December 25.
Well, at least in the US and Canada. Season 5 Volume 2 will be released on the evening of December 25th in both North and South America. That means, thanks to the time difference between America and the rest of the world, everyone else will get it a day later on Friday, December 26.

Three. You might have expected the final four installments to be released at the same time, but Netflix is holding back Stranger Things 5last hurray for another date.

When are new episodes of Stranger Things season 5 coming out?
As I mentioned above, the final episode of one of the best Netflix shows ever will launch on a different date than the rest of Season 5 Volume 2.
Entitled ‘The Rightside Up’, Stranger Things season 5 episode 8 will take its bow on New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2025) in North and South America and New Year’s Day (January 1, 2026) in Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania.
After that, the main show of the supernatural horror franchise ends. Of course, there will be spin-offs – a stage prequel is already out, while an animated middle-quel will arrive sometime in 2026. Once ‘The Rightside Up’ drops, however, we’ll be saying goodbye to the cast and crew of one of Netflix’s most successful TV originals.
