A rain -bearing weather system is set to enter Pakistan tonight, bringing chances of showers over Punjab from March 14 to 16, the meteorological department has expected.

In areas such as chitral, dera, swat and others, thunderstorms are expected with rainfall with snowfall on the mountains.

In addition, the prognosis also includes rain with thunderstorms for the regions of Mansehra, Kohistan, Torghar and Abbottabad.

The temperature of Peshawar was detected at 14 degrees Celsius yesterday, while the temperatures in Kalam and Malam Jabba were registered at 2 ° C and 1 ° C. Parachinar experienced a low of -1 ° C respectively, while Dera Ismail Khan reached 16 ° C, and Saidu Sharif registered 7 ° C.

In the southern part of the country, PMD had also previously predicted that the ongoing hot spell in Karachi will continue for the next 24 hours.
