Caitlin Clark has been on the bench that used an injury since the Indiana fever was heading towards Connecticut Sun just moments away from the All-Star break.
Since then, her return to the floor has been closely protected. Clark’s wounded right groin has failed to heal enough that she even returns to the practice. Fever -head coach Stephanie White told journalists that there was no schedule for her to return to the lineup.

“Until she can get in practice, and until you see her in practice, it’s really the status quo,” she told journalists on Wednesday.
To make things more frustrating, several reports on Wednesday indicated that Clark suffered a bone mark in her left ankle while rehabing from her groin injury. A source told the Indy star that the ankle question would not have affected her timeline.
Sophie Cunningham, who is also ready to miss the rest of the season after a torn MCL against the sun, fell a few nuggets about Clark’s injury and recovery process.
“She doesn’t even know (when she’s coming back). Literally it’s a daily legitimate type of thing,” she said on “show me something”. “Yes, it’s close you have to remember that she would play if she wasn’t in WNBA right now. At this level, with how deep and how good people are today in our league, which is the best it has ever tried to get her back in game form what they are trying to do.”
