Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bulls -Owner Jerry Reinsdorf will be set aside in a trial derived from a shooting during a White SOX game on the guaranteed rate field in August 2023, a Cook County judge ordered Friday, per. More reports.
The shooting is shrouded in mysticism almost two years later.

A 42-year-old woman was shot in the leg and a 26-year-old woman suffered a grazing wound on her stomach and refused medical attention. The 42-year-old woman brought a trial in 2024 and accused the team of “negligence and recklessness.”
Videos sent to X at the time showed some paniced patrons running away from the stadium. Others waited for a Vanilla ICE concert at the end of the game, which ended up being canceled due to “technical problems”, according to a message on the scoreboard.
“Due to technical problems, tonight’s post -game concert has been canceled,” the message was partially read. “We’re sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.”

It was unclear how a weapon was able to enter the stadium in the first place. The ballpark does not allow any kind of weapon to be brought into the plant.
“Weapons of all kinds, including pepper spray. It is illegal for anyone to enter or try to enter the ballpark with a firearm, regardless of permission,” according to the park’s rules.
