The boys and Gen V. Share the same world and timeline so that in the upcoming season two of the latter, several characters will appear from the original show.
So far, two SUPES are confirmed to appear. They are Deep (Chace Crawford) and FireCracker (Valorie Curry).
In separate news, the shooting in season five of the boys is completed, and its creator, Eric Kripke, has written a heartfelt post on social media as he offers goodbye to the show.
“This is the last time I will ever be on this set. It is quickly torn down. It’s bitter, but my primary feeling is gratitude,” the producer wrote.
He continued, “We have the best role crew, the best crew, the most fun story to write, and something that is impossible to predict: the real timing.”
“You’re waiting for your whole career to have maybe two of these things if you’re lucky. We got them all.”
“To #thoys Family: Thanks, I love you all. To the fans: Thanks for seeing, can’t wait for you to see the Grand Final. It’s a wrapping,” he concluded.
Season two of Gen V will be released on September 17, and the boy’s season five will be released in 2026.
