Wife of Chiefs owner rejects ‘judging favorite’ in front of Super Bowl Lix

Tavia Hunt, Kona to Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt, has entered the conversations about “judging favorite” in front of the Super Bowl Lix.

NFL referees calling games in favor of Chiefs have been the subject of debate among football fans and experts, but Hunt will not hear any of it.

She posted on Instagram after her Chiefs ’32 -29 victory over Buffalo Bills to secure three straight AFC championships and discussed her original feelings about the team’s success.

“Overwhelmed,” she wrote. “That’s the word that comes to mind when we reflect on the lavish grace, benefit and faithfulness of God. I have said it before: I don’t think God is interested in football but he is deeply interested in people.”

Hunt would continue to reflect on the matches the team had over a decade ago, which brought up in the 2012 season, when they went 2-14. But that eventually led to the decision to hire head coach Andy Reid, and the rest is history when he built a winning program.

Now Chiefs are on the CUSP of NFL story as they could become the first team ever to win three straight Super Bowls.

But Hunt added “Hard Work, Faith and Purpose” are the reasons why – not a conspiracy that referee favors them during this playoffs.

“By the grace of God we have been successful, but it is not ‘black magic’ or judicial favoritism (look at the statistics of this) – it is lots of hard work, faith and purpose. Patrick Mahomes leads with humility and puts God first.”

Hunt has been very vocal about her faith and mentioned others as Harrison Butker, Grape Tranquill, Chris Jones, Nick Bolton and more do too.

Chiefs will be on their way to New Orleans to meet the Philadelphia Eagles again in “Big Game” as this current line began with a Super Bowl LVII win over them in Arizona two seasons ago.
