Will lagiacrus come to Monster Hunter Wilds?

Capcom has teased back by Lagiacrus showing the sea’s snake at the end of a recent exhibition event for Monster Hunter Wilds. Given this I am sure to say that yes, Lagiacrus will come to Monster Hunter Wilds In the future.
The only warning here is that while Lagiacrus is actually shown in the teaser, Capcom is not yet to confirm that it showed Monster is Lagiacrus or the details of when they could arrive. As such, keep an eye on this page for updates when we’ve got them.
The reason that I am convinced that Lagiacrus is coming to Monster Hunter Wilds is that the short tease showed a green -scale monster with lots of underwater sound effects. LAGIACRUS debuted in Monster Hunter TriEspecially mentioned in a hunt that used the game’s underwater match. Hopefully this hunting style returns to Wild.
This is all good news for Monster Hunter fans who voted Lagiacrus the overall third favorite monster from the series in an official vote from 2023.
When could Lagiacrus arrive at Monster Hunter Wilds?
We do not know exactly when the Lagiacrus is launched in Monster Hunter Wilds. What we know is that the Lagiacrus teaser, previously mentioned, was paired with the text “Other Title Update”.
This is probably the Title Update 2, which is set for the summer of 2025. As you can see in the picture above, the timetable of Monster Hunter Wilds extends in at the end of May before things get a little cloudy. I expect Capcom to relieve another Monster Hunter exhibition window in June, which will detail title update 2, and hopefully give some more info on what to expect from Lagiacrus.

LAGIACRUS never appeared in Monster Hunter World. They were also absent from Monster Hunter World: Iceborne enlargement.

LAGIACRUS first appeared in Monster Hunter TriLike the game’s flagship monster. It then came to Monster Hunter GenerationsAlthough only on land that delivers a very different battle compared to the underwater action in Tri.
