Prince William and Kate Middleton have allegedly promised not to create another “reserve” in the royal family after Prince Harry’s back-to-back controvers.
According to a report from FabulousThe Prince and Princess of Wales takes steps to make sure their children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, do not feel overshadowed by their older brother, Prince George, who is the next in line with the British throne.
In a speech with the publication, royal expert Phil Dampier said the royal couple wants to promote a sense of equality among their children, with George as “first among equals.”
William and Kate see George as “most important”, but wants his siblings to be his “equal to,” the insider said.
“I think William and Kate see George as Primus Inter Pares – first among equality,” he added. “Obviously, he is the most important.
“Yes, he is the future king, but how things go Charlotte and Louis can have major roles in the future.
“Certainly the royal family needs them as they become thin on the ground. Kate has always been close to her siblings and she wants her children to share the same kind of bond.
“Prince Harry always felt like ‘reserve’, but maybe it won’t happen to Charlotte and Louis as there are two of them and they will support each other as well as George.”
