Willie Nelson cuts off the Oklahoma Show because of this reason

Willie Nelson has canceled his 2025 Outlaw Music Festival Show due to bad weather damaging his equipment.

The Riders in the sky Hitmaker was a headliner for the musical festival until “Extreme Weather” got the anniversary concert event to be canceled.

“Outlaw Music Festival’s 10 -Year anniversary concert event scheduled for July 1, 2025 at Lucky Star Ampitheatre in El Reno, OK has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances,” read a statement shared on the official Instagram account for the Outlaw Music Festival.

“An extreme weather event in the evening of June 29 in Ridgedale, Mo in Thunder Ridge Nature Arena produced heavy rain and high winds that forced the amount to evacuate,” the statement continued.

“Unfortunately, much of the Outlaw Music Festival’s equipment and artist instruments were damaged and water -added, which made their condition difficult to assess in time for accurate and safe to use for tomorrow’s show,” the company said.

“Blackbird Presents, Lucky Star Amphitheatre and DCF concerts are disappointed to have to cancel the commitment and sincerely apologize for any disadvantage this cancellation can cause,” the statement concluded.

Willie also shared the same statement on his Instagram grip.
