Caitlin Clark may not be able to play in the WNBA All-Star game on Saturday due to a groin injury, but that does not mean that she will put the competitive fire out on the bench.
Clark was named one of the team captains of the event and she will help New York Liberty head coach Sandy Brondello from the sidelines.
At the forefront of the tipoffet, Clark was with Model Napheesa Collier on ESPN and was asked what her coaching mentality would be for the game.

“I think I should heck the judges a little,” she said. “I don’t know who is reffering yet, but it will decide how much I want to heck them. Usually when it’s an all-star game, it’s some better, but maybe I could get a technical (mistake) or something.
“Frankly, just having a good time.”
The Indiana Fever star then wondered if the All-Star game had ever had a draft.

Clark is no stranger to working wnba -officials. She routinely speaks with the judges or expresses her dissatisfaction with some of the calls, like many of her WNBA colleagues.
Before leaving Tuesday evening’s game with a groin injury, Clark had to be pulled away from a judge during a timeout against Connecticut Sun.

Clark was named one of the All-Star game captains after receiving most fan voices. She does not play because of an injury she has sustained against the sun.
