The 2025 WNBA draft just began how everyone expected when Uconn Huskies star Paige Bueckers was selected first assembled by Dallas Wings on Monday night.

Bueckers have had # 1 election potential since she entered Uconn. Seeing it coming to execution, fresh from a national title race with his sisters on the field, was “overwhelming” for the new star in the wings.
