WNBA has seen a significant fall in TV rates while Indiana Fever Star Caitlin Clark remains the sideline with a quad injury.
Clark has missed five straight matches after she strained a quadriceps during fever 90-88 losses to New York Liberty last month.
Originally, she was expected to miss two weeks, but the second -year guard has not yet been cleared for Saturday’s match against Liberty, which marks three weeks.

Her absence on the field has not only hurt the fever. It’s evil in WNBA’s TV assessments.

USA Today Reported Thursday that according to Nielsen Data, National TV is broadcast WNBA viewing down 55%since Clark was injured on May 24. The report said national television fever games are also 53% down.
Outkick clarified These songs that reported that the four previous games Clark played in were sent on CBS and ABC. A third was broadcast on NBA TV and a fourth was not judged by Nielsen because it was sent on Amazon Prime.
Three of the four fever games after Clark was injured were sent on either NBA -TV or Ion. And the fever’s latest match against Chicago Sky drew on average 1.92 million viewers, WNBA announced on Tuesday.

These numbers reflect the third highest viewing for a game carried by CBS. It was also a big increase compared to the network’s average season picture of the regular seasons. But it was a drop from the season opener between these two teams.
Fever -head coach Stephanie White said on Monday that the team is ready for Clark to start “ramp up again” but she did not say if she was cleared yet for basketball activities. White added Thursday that Clark and Sophie Cunningham, who have been sidelined since May 30, had “limited” reps during the exercise.
