“I think it’s a great opportunity for Caitlin to see the game from the sidelines, to grow in a coaching -stroke thinking and see some different things that we might be talking about on movies, addressing in practice, to see it developing in live action,” White said via CBS Sports. “As players do you see [the game] In a micro point of view, and when you’re on the sidelines and you see it as a whole, you’ll see it in a different way than a macro point of view. I think it will give her a unique perspective and she comes back better and it will help us be better. “

“It’s nice to grow when you’re on the floor, but you also see the game on different levels when you’re not on the floor,” White added. “You see it on a level or two levels when you’re on the floor, and you often [equate] It is to be in a coach’s mindset and be in a coach’s point of view. Listening to us and our conversations, whether in practice or on the sidelines, talk about what our weight is, what we are looking for and you see it from a different perspective. “

It doesn’t look like Clark needs a lot of learning. She is already tied to the WNBA record for the most 20-point, 10-assistant games in the league history and set the record last year for most assists in a single season.

Clark network a season high 27 points last Tuesday against the Atlanta dream. She fell 20-Plus points in each of her first two matches before setting only 11 on Thursday and then 18 on Saturday against reigning champion New York Liberty.

It is unclear when she suffered the damage. She has played each of the fever’s four games to start the season, and Indiana has gone 2-2 to begin the year and has had at least one double-double in three of these competitions.

Clark will miss a huge stretch of games for the fever, beginning with Wednesday’s Matchup on the road to Washington Mystics. It’s the first of two matchups against Washington.

She will also miss games against Connecticut Sun And also Chicago Sky. If all goes well, Clark will be able to return on the road to Atlanta Dream on June 10th.
