Justice has been served for at least one person who threw a sex toy on the field during a WNBA game.

Wnba said on Saturday that the tab that threw a neon green dildo on the field during a game between Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries on July 29, has been arrested. Anyone else caught by throwing objects on the field said the league will be pushed out of the arena and exposed to a minimum offering of one year.

“Security and well -being for everyone in our arenas is a highest priority for our league. Objects of all kinds thrown on the field or in the field of residence may pose a security risk to players, game officials and fans,” the league said in a statement. “In accordance with the WNBA Arena Security Standards, any fan who intentionally throws an object on the court will immediately be pushed out and faced a minimum of one year’s ban in addition to being subject to the arrest and prosecution of local authorities.”

The incident took place late in the fourth quarter Tuesday at the Gateway Center Arena. There was a stop of games while an official kicked the lost dildo from the field and it was removed by a police officer.

On Friday, a copycat crime emerged when a fan threw another sex toy – which from a distance seemed to be the same brand and model as the first – during the curve during Friday’s match between Valkyries and Chicago Sky.

“It’s super disrespectful. I don’t really get aware of it,” said Sky Center Elizabeth Williams after Friday’s match. “It’s really immature. The one who does it has to grow up.”

Other WNBA players have also chimeted on social media, including Indiana Fever’s Sophie Cunningham and New York Liberty tip Isabelle Harrison.

Cunningham wrote on Friday: “Stop throwing dildos on the field … You’re going to hurt one of us.”

Harrison added to X: “Arena Security?! Hi ??! Make it better. It’s not fun. Never was fun. Throwing something on the field is so dangerous.”
