Diana Taurasi, WNBA’s scoring leader at all times, has an upcoming three -part documents about her famous basketball career, “Taurasi.”
Prime Video’s teaser of the documents has already become viral.
Taurasi has always been honest on and off the field, and the WNBA icon reflected on having to play abroad in the league’s season to supplement her income. In a clip from the series, Taurasi complained in the first place.

“I’m the best player in the world and I have to go to a communist country to get paid as a capitalist,” Taurasi said, referring to his time traveling to Russia.
“F — ing-Guard champion at the arena made more than me.”
Taurasi shared a similar mood in 2019 on a 30 for 30 podcast, “The Spy Who signed me.”

“Now we have to come home and get paid nothing to play in a tougher league, under worse relationships, against the best competition in the world.”
WNBA players are still traveling abroad to play internationally during the season, although the new 3-to-3 unmatched league, started by stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, debuted earlier this year to help keep women in the US
Based on the collective negotiation agreement in 2020 for WNBA, the minimum wage for a player has risen from $ 57,000 that year to $ 66,079 in 2025, according to Spotrac. It will continue to rise to $ 68,061 in 2026 and $ 70,103 in 2027.
But the current CBA expires October 31, 2025, after WNBPA’s decision to opt out instead of letting it run through the 2027 season.

If a new agreement is not achieved at the beginning of the 2026 campaign, there may be a lockout.
