A bicycle team has made the middle event’s decision to strip part of their team name from their uniforms after protesters gave them some time.
That word? ‘Israel.’
The Israel-Premiere Tech bike team has competed in La Vuelta a España, which is essentially Spain’s version of the Tour de France.

However, the team has been a goal for the mad pro-Palestine protesters who have questioned the team’s name, even though the team has no formal ties to the Israeli government.
According to The Independent, the Israel part of their name comes from the fact that the team’s Israeli-Canadian billionaire, Sylvan Adams, is an avid supporter of the country and its actions in Gaza after the terrorist attacks on October 7.
Of course, in the eyes of the protesters, where many I would be willing to bet not even 100 percent sure what they are protesting or even why-it is enough to put the team in the cross hair.

So the team has decided to remove “Israel” from its uniforms. The logo based on Star of David remains but has moved.
This is not the first time the team has done something like this. Last season, it removed the word “Israel” from team vehicles because they were targeted by protesters.
On the one hand, I get that the first priority should be the security of riders and team staff. But by digging for the requirements of these unhinged madmen that can’t even manage to see a word they don’t like on a bicycle jersey, they win.

Hopefully this will draw attention to the pure insanity of these protesters, but it will also make you wonder why racial organizers did not jump down on them anymore. Do they not have a responsibility to make sure that riders and the Teams personnel are safe against whispers being triggered by a country’s name?
Just flat out ridiculous.
