Wonder man will reduce the curtain on Marvel’s 2025 release slate. The upcoming mini -series, invoiced as a situation comedy, is debuting in December, so now is as good time as anyone to learn more about it.
Below I have rounded off all the latest information about the Disney+ TV original. It includes the confirmed role crew and other actors who are getting rid of, any plot details that have been revealed and when its first trailer may fall.
So whether you are already excited about this Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) TV show or want to learn more about it, dive in!
Wonder Man Release Window
Wonder man Don’t have an official release date yet. However, we have known for over a year that it comes in December 2025 -In fact, Marvel confirmed as much as it announced its full 2025 Disney+ TV-Line-Up in November 2024.
Hopefully its confirmed launch date will be announced in the near future. Per Marvel.com will be held a Marvel TV and Animation Panel at New York Comic-Con on Saturday, October 11, so we can expect to learn more about its premiere date very soon.
Wonder you trailer: Is there one?
No. There are some overly brief recordings in a Disney+ ‘that will soon be in 2025’ teaser that you can see above. These clips aside, but we haven’t seen anything about this Marvel -Phase 6 -TV show.
Like its release date, however Wonder manThe first teaser is almost certain of being revealed on the New York Comic-Con 2025 and released online shortly after. When it is, I update this paragraph.
Wonder Man Role -Besat: Confirmed and Rumor

So far, only two actors have been confirmed to appear in Wonder man:
- Yahha Abdul-Mate II as Simon Williams/Wonder Man
- Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery
Undoubtedly best known to appear in Warner Bros’ Aquaman Film customizations such as David Kane/Black Manta, Abdul-Mate II will be the latest actor to appear in DC and Marvel’s film franchise.
Hired to play Wonder man‘s protagonist At the end of 2022, Abdul-Mate II will produce Simon Williams, a hopeful actor/stuntman who auditions for the lead role as a superhero TV series. When Wonder man Beginner, Williams will be unaware that he actually possesses superpowers, which should create a very meta -textual and potentially entertaining story if he lands the job.
Participation in Abdul-Mate II on the confirmed role crew is the British icon Ben Kingsley (Thursday’s murder clubAt Gandhi). He reproduces his role as Trevor Slattery, an amateur actor who has appeared in two Marvel movies, Iron Man 3 and Shang-Chi. Based on what small recordings we’ve seen will be Slattery Williams’ mentor – a view that will taste Wonder man with some odd pairs of sensitivity.
The couple is expected to stay with a trio of familiar faces. Per Tvline and ComicBook.com, Demetrius Grosse (LongfulAt Banshee) Will make Simon’s brother Eric, who should be the biggest villain in the play. Don’t worry unless it is revealed in an upcoming trailer or TV spot, I will not spoil who his antagonistic altar-ego is in advance.
Still, Deadline has also required Ed Harris (Apollo 13At The Truman show) will produce Neal Sorayan, alias Simon’s agent. Arian Moayed’s Agent Cleary, a Department of Damage Control (DODC) employee who briefly appeared in Spider-Man: No way home and Mrs. MarvelAlso said to show up (again per deadline).
Other actors have been rumored to be part of the role crew, but I like to name them until we get official confirmation that they will actually be part of the show’s history. Talking about which …
Wonder Man Story Speculation
Possible spoilers follow for Wonder man.
Predictable, Wonder man Don’t have a story synopsis yet. Based on what has been discussed in public, plus what was shown in the above ‘which came in 2025’ Sizzle wheels, we can derive some things about it.
First, as Hollywood Reporter (THR) outlined in June 2022, Wonder man will customize a particular part of the character’s back story in Marvel Comics. In the source material, Simon Williams takes a day job as an actor/stuntman, so his TV series clearly draws inspiration from this aspect of his cartoon history.
It does not mean that we do not learn about Williams’ superpower back story. It had to differ something from his cartoon -the origins of the game, though mostly because Williams was created as an enemy for Avengers before becoming a hero in his own right. Wonder man would have to have to make a lot of heavy lifting from a storytelling perspective if it didn’t change this part of his back story so I predict Wonder man Will change how Williams got his superpowers.
Unlike online rumors, this MCU project does not include 10 episodes. When he talked about the phase hero Podcast last November, Marvel’s head of TV, animation and streaming, Brad Winderbaum, confirmed that it would be an eight-part series. Given that it will be a TV production in sitcom style, I suppose each entry will be about 30 minutes.
Wonder man Could also have ties to previous Marvel shows. Since it is based in McU’s version of Hollywood and the wider Los Angeles area, it would not be surprising if it refers to She-Hulk: Attorney by Law. This legal comedy was also put in LA, so this MCU -Phase 4 -TV series could be mentioned in some capacity. Is it a stretch to suggest that Kevin, the artificial intelligence and caricature of Marvel President Kevin Feige-there claims to be responsible for the MCU, will be part of the procedure or even the brain behind the I universe showing that Williams is testing?
Without getting into the weeds of his literary ties to Vision and Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (I won’t spoil anything that can happen in this show), Williams’ MCU debut could also include references to Wandavision and its pseudo-sequence Agatha all the timealias two of the best Disney+ shows around. It’s possible Wonder man Can create events that come in the Untitled Vision TV show that will also arrive next year, but I will discuss it in more detail in the section below.
With several super-powerful creatures living and/or operating out of other California cities such as San Francisco, such as Shang-Chi and Scott Lang/Ant-Man, I would not be shocked if mentioned in passers-by and/or there are Easter eggs relating to these superhumans. From a world -building point of view then Wonder man Perhaps fitting seamlessly into the larger MCU -Tapestry if it does one or the whole above.
Will there be more seasons of Wonder Man?
It’s unclear. Right now, it’s invoiced as a limited series that is industry that speaks for a show that will last only in one season.
Winderbaum spoke on Disney in advance 2025 (as reported by THR) and highlighted the fact that not all Marvel TV show gets another season. However, it is more likely that this is the case for “shows with Marquee names,” Winderbaum said. Given Wonder man Is not currently a household name, it is possible that another season can be green -lit if it is a smash hit.
Even if the Abdul mate II-led production is a one-and-made scenario, its potential influence on MCU can be significant.
First, it may be able to establish the plot of the Vision -Fronted Disney+ series. Again this is entirely dependent on whether Wonder man References the character’s ties to vision in the comics. If it does, both series may end up setting the stage at the arrival of West Coast Avengers. A replacement of the Earth’s most powerful heroes operating out of California, this group has counted Williams, Scarlet Witch and Vision among its ensemble since its comic book debut in September 1984. Wonder man Could then the seeds of not only MCU’s upcoming vision project, but also a small-screen Avengers team-up.
