Work on the N-25 motorway begins

ISLAMABAD:

Communications Minister Abdul Aleem Khan announced on Thursday that construction of a major highway linking Karachi with Quetta and Chaman, financed through a special tax on petroleum products, has formally started.

Chairing a meeting at the NHA, the minister reviewed the pace of ongoing projects in Balochistan, including M-8, which is crucial for improving connectivity to Gwadar Port.

During the meeting, the minister was also briefed on security issues and other aspects related to NHA’s construction activities in Balochistan.
